Olympus TP-8 Phone Microphone I bought an Olympus TP-7 Phone Voice Recorder Microphone to use with my Olympus WS-700M digital recorder and it works like a charm. The recorder provides power to the microphone, eliminating the need for external (battery) power and battery replacement. The microphone head is slightly curved to ensure the microphone fits snugly against the phone and provides a comfortable fit for the user. The voice quality is excellent. This microphone allows you to clearly hear the person on the other end of the phone line, and the length of the cable prevents the microphone from detaching from the recorder or being pulled from your ear during a call. . The rubberized end of the microphone is comfortable on the ear. And it can be used with landline or mobile phone. Pros: It's relatively small, light weight, easy to use, well built, great sound. Cons: No, if you don't have a voice recorder it's pretty much useless. I would recommend this call to a friend unless I thought my "friend" would use it to sign me up. Note: Check the laws in your state before recording a phone conversation. While New York state allows one party to a call to record the call without notifying the other party that the call is being recorded, not all states are so liberal.
