Awesome! I have tried so many ways to get the wood onto the roof rack but this is the first time I am happy with the solution. I pulled a 2" x 12" x 144" hickory board over my Thule trunk. I tightened the straps, making sure they were in snug contact with the board and roof, and tied them in place. I drove 12 miles on freeways and lanes in traffic and there was very little traffic off the board I was skeptical but now I regret not having gotten them years ago.
