This is my first tripod. Besides mounting cameras, I plan to use it for binoculars as well. But the height isn't enough and I may have to crouch when using the binoculars (it's on me as the product lists the height correctly). Advantages: 1. Compact in packaging, 18 inches high.2. Mobile phone holder and photo remote control3. Convenient space in the tripod for the remote control so you don't lose it.4. Light weight.5. While fairly durable, not flimsy.6. Decent tote bag. Disadvantages: 1. The remote control contains 3 buttons. First impression is that two of them zoom in and out and one clicks. But all 3 only work for photo.2. No hook on the base to hang heavy items for more stability.3. Phone mount screw. It should be spring loaded for quick installation and release. Screwing and unscrewing is just too slow.4. A separate tripod grip would be a nice plus. Overall satisfied with product features and price. Will update once I've spent some time using it.
