Review on Brydge 12.9 Pro+ Wireless Keyboard with Trackpad for iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2020 & 2018), Aluminum Bluetooth 5.0 Keyboard, Native Multi-Touch Trackpad, Backlit Keys, Space Gray by William Obong

My iPad as a body part at home; either in my lap or open on the table or waiting for me to take it. I have owned five (5) Brydge keyboards to date including this new one with trackpad which I have returned. I have tried other detachable keyboards but prefer the Brydge for its style, weight, ease of use and functionality. I've never used a trackpad, but I've used a mouse with my PC, so I thought it might be a good thing. What happened is that when typing emails or letters, my fingers would touch the trackpad, distorting what I was writing. I've tried unsuccessfully to find a switch (like the backlight switch) to turn off the trackpad. I contacted support and they told me it's not possible to disable the trackpad. So I ordered the one without the trackpad and sent back the one with the trackpad. Several reviews address issues with the clips that attach the iPad to the keyboard, the rubber bumpers on the bottom of the keyboard, and the magnetic cover. If you drop your iPad along with the keyboard, these clips will most likely detach from the keyboard and you won't be able to reattach them (the main reason I need new keyboards all the time). One or more rubber bumpers will always come loose within the first month or two (I've glued my own or used thin shell substitutes and chopsticks). The magnetic cover often slips or falls off due to insufficient magnet strength. Despite these annoying issues, I still think Brydge is the best keyboard for my iPad.
