This product does not match the advertised

I found this product to be a good option to eliminate wind noise on my GoPro 8. And it really does it by reducing wind noise when recording. But he also advertised how durable and tear-resistant it was. Not the case at all. It is made of thin foam that breaks easily. Because you must remove, or at least remove, the foam cover from your GoPro in order to connect it to charge or replace batteries, the foam will tear after a few distances. Worth trying for the price. It still works even if it's torn. But that won't last long, and if you're looking for a more permanent solution to reducing wind noise, an external mic is fine and will be my next purchase. The downside of an external mic is that you make your GoPro vulnerable to water ingress due to the exposed latch that houses the battery compartment. When wet, this foam sleeve reduces wind noise and keeps your camera waterproof.

Pros
  • πŸ“· MULTIPLE USES: If you have this windshield cover, you do not need an additional microphone. Also, it protects your camera from scratches, fingerprints, dirt and bumps.
Cons
  • Too long to wait
