You had to straighten it to insert it.
I lost my original stylus in the first month I received my phone! The original pen was easy to put back in the holder and I didn't double check to see if it would fall out. Of course it fell out and I lost it. this new one, I just have to line it up perfectly to insert it. I like it better than the original. went to Revain. Yes, I would recommend Stylus 4 plus LG Phone
