I was looking for something that would give me a little more length and this was one of the few that I could find. My wrists are larger, but I prefer the Fenix 5S' slightly smaller bezel than the Fenix 5. That meant I wore my watch at the penultimate mark. I just felt like it wasn't secure enough and was really concerned about wearing such an expensive watch in such an unreliable way. This band gives me a few more notches and I no longer have to worry about the watch falling off.
