The product is excellent but the device sent is rubbish.

The product lived up to expectations when we first took it out of the box. Only one of them is strong enough to carry 5 sweatshirts, 2 winter coats, a decently stocked purse and 2 pairs of my jogging bottoms which I keep by the door in case I need to escape quickly. Not bad at all if you ask me and I will buy more if the need arises. If you're buying this though, make sure you have the best quality anchors and screws on hand, or plan to screw it into a substrate or stud if possible. The little plastic anchors that come with it, excuse the harshness lol, but they're just rubbish. They bend and it becomes impossible to hit the wall once you try to deploy them. And yes, I used the correct size drill bit, I was a carpenter/builder. Money, but you'll need better hardware to mount it properly if you really want it to stay on the wall when you hang something on it. I would also suggest actually screwing in the studs or base plate as mentioned above. In our apartment, the drywall is just too thin to safely support anything really valuable without the studs supporting the weight. My suggestion to the company: send better hardware and adjust the dimensions so the screw holes actually match the standard stud spacing (16" on center) so your product can be fully attached to the studs when hanging. Then actually make it the standard way to hang it. Drywall isn't the answer to all the pounds though.
