When I went to buy them there weren't any photos of people wearing them with the tops, so I wanted to be useful by showing others what they look like in large size according to the label (US average I believe) and I have a natural 28.5" waist, 35" low waist and 39" hips. Overall I love these shorts. I got them because I live in Florida and my friends sometimes accidentally want to go to the beach but have to wait ages for me to clean up and i hate it anyway so i thought i would buy shorts just to skip this step i am very pale so i should anyway don't tan so coverage is ok anyway these are pretty decent shorts i have some concerns but they are very cheap so i think they meet my general needs (where high is more flattering and has a small inseam of 3 inches is worth it. However, they have a pot. Essential for serious camel toes due to the center seam. They are also very straight at the top and bottom; To be most flattering on me, they have to be smaller towards the top (sucking in the kid's spare tire) and allow my butt to breathe (it's pretty small, but not THAT small). Part of my bun and flattening my butt though I guess I'm pretty skinny and that's fine although they are true to size. Just follow the size chart. They are fully lined and have a sanitary napkin made from body material Very thick and appears to be SPF 50. All in all they are exactly what I need and I haven't seen better ones so I need to get these. I would give them 3.5 stars if I could.
