I use this phone holder for my iPhone XS Max with the Apple Genuine Leather Case, which is a relatively thin case. This phone holder is the perfect size for my car and is very simple and easy to assemble. (without reading the user manual) and keeps my iPhone XS MAX clearly visible on my car's dashboard. The plastic grips (holders on the left and right sides) wrap well around my phone case and fit snugly into the curves of my iPhone. Case so my phone doesn't shake when the car moves.
