This J-hook works well but I wish the rubber strip was attached better. As you can see from my photos, the rubbery material is an asymmetrical design with a wider part intended to make contact with the object held by the hook. Unfortunately, this stuff just slides onto the hook so it's pretty easy to flip or slide off. It's not a big deal, but I'd prefer a standard glued rubber pad that doesn't move, or a symmetrical design like a hexagonal profile so it doesn't make a difference when it rotates. I appreciate that the screw head is protected by a plastic cap for transport purposes. I also like the Hammertone finish. The screw design works well in wood, but no more. I also don't think this hook design is ideal for heavier items (but that's not the hook's fault) - I think for heavier items this screw pulls out relatively easily after some side loading.
