Great product, very easy. not complicated at all. This is a replacement for the one I had but left it at the hotel. We were able to teach our pup to use it fairly quickly. This doesn't mean the puppy didn't make a mess, it means the puppy was able to tell us when it wanted to go to the bathroom. , or afraid to go outside for some reason (noise, bug spray, etc.), or just couldn't resist going to the door. There were several times that the dog lay down on the carpet right outside the door because he couldn't hold it anymore, like a child just knowing before he has to go. Take your time, reinforce positively and you should have quick results. Keep in mind that this won't stop the mess. Be kind and gentle with the mess, the dog won't want to mess around in your house any more than you would like.
