This is an amazing grater. My only regret is that I didn't buy another one for our RV. Works great with hard cheese. Parmesan, Romano and Asiago. Anyone who thinks they should be able to make softer cheeses is ridiculous. There is no grater that makes soft cheese without sticking. I didn't use chocolate for this, but I think if the chocolate is very cold and you take small pieces out of the fridge and grate them while it's cold, that should help. It's good quality and works really well. The plastic is thick and strong. In my opinion the perfect size. It's slightly larger than the metal ones I used which is a plus. I love little storage containers, they're a great addition. I've owed a lot of metal rubs over the years and was looking for something a little different. As others have said the handle is difficult to remove but use a rubber can opener and it really helps. You wouldn't want a loose handle to fall off while rubbing! I like this grater very much and can only recommend it.
