It appears to be a matte anti-glare screen protector. Technically, they are suitable for the device and can offer sufficient protection, going as far as possible without interfering with your device's speakers, and easily cover more than just the visible area of the screen. It's good. You get 2 of these - good too, especially for what I paid (less than twenty). And they really work and can be effective. I don't mind the square cut next to the camera, webcam and sensor. It's not a super custom fit, but it's specific to this device. Unfortunately I also found that the ends don't really match up very well and no matter how clean the setup was you get bubbles at the end of the screen as someone else pointed out especially near the camera holes which is a big cut around that area. It covered the visible part of the screen with only one bump. If you're paying $10 each or less, it might be worth it, but expect something very weak. There is a matte screen protector, but you can see the little colored dots on the screen very clearly, and if you're used to high-quality matte screen protectors, this won't help. The one I later got from a competitor company that specializes in screen protectors was much better and immediately caught my eye.
