I have been using these headphones for over 3 weeks. I work 10-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week - not counting the countless hours of overtime I wear headphones at home or study in the library. It is very important to me to have good headphones. Listening to good quality music helps me get through the day and relieve stress as much as possible! With such a high usage volume, I use a cheaper bud set ($50-$120) about once a year, so I decided to spend a little more this time for better quality. When making spending decisions (especially in the $150+ range), I want to get the most bang for my buck. Towards the end of the day I have a nasty headache from pressing on my glasses. So to replace my current Klipsch R6i I was looking for good in-ear headphones that were ok but didn't have the bass punch I wanted. After months of long research as I wanted to be absolutely sure to get the right set by renting in-ear headphones to test Focal Sphear, Bose, Beats, Etymotic and many more, I finally decided to buy one mood to go out . and try ZN as the sound quality was great on my M-100. I DEFINITELY got a bang for my buck with these puppies, even paid full price! I listen to a lot of electronica, some rap, some modern, jazz, classical and indie. I haven't found a genre yet that doesn't sound good to them. The bass is perfect, the vocals don't disappear anywhere - the soundstage is just fantastic. I found the vocals to be a little blurry, but it was minor enough that it wasn't a problem for me (as I prefer my bass) and that was fixed with my Comply Lip Tips (more below). I'm a female with fairly small ear canals, so comfort (especially during long hours when wearing headphones) is an issue with most headphones. Even with the standard headphone cases in the XS, they were very comfortable to use throughout the day! I have a set of Comply earbuds (I currently use sport earbuds) which I prefer to use instead of the standard earbuds as the sound quality was slightly better on vocals. I've found I can have volume even in the office. quietly and still hear what's going on around me. If I want to drown out the noise around me, I just turn up the volume a little and the noise isolation works great. Post, but I have to say I'm reaching for my ZNs and my M-100s are safely stowed in a case. What I like about them is that they don't stand out and have the benefit of being able to take/make calls which is nice (audio quality tested and people can hear me loud and clear!). I also like that these headphones feel very durable which means they will last a long time and I appreciate the V-Moda Immortal Life program. I will update it in 3-6 months to test durability. A piece of advice: be extremely careful when removing standard earbuds! I accidentally snapped the tip so one of my XS tip sets was useless - but that doesn't matter and I'm sure if I let V-Moda know they will send me another tip set.
