It's really a great trick, not just for kids, I've had a lot of adults shocked by it. For an even better trick, buy a coloring book of the same name that has only blank pages. You let them study this book first. Then switch books when you've done the trick. Use vanishing crayons and a color changing wand for added effects. For a cool trick, show a completely blank book and then switch books. Show that the real book has blank pages. Wave your wand, say a word, and show that there are pictures in the book. Point the crayons, wave the wand, touch the box of crayons, the crayons will disappear, rotate the wand and the colors of the crayons will appear on the pencil. Touch the book by spinning the magic wand and show that all the pictures in the book are colorful and the colors have disappeared from the magic wand. Either complete the trick or put the colors from the book back into the pen, then back into the crayon box, then remove the pictures from the book and complete the trick showing blank pages.
