I have a street cat and a house cat. The house cat always sleeps on our bed and in the sheds, I put towels but she won't lie on them so I thought it would be good as they would be warmer, was worried about the noise but she loves it! Wherever I put it, it will be so cool! Now my outdoor cat has an insulated cat house but with temperatures below freezing I thought it would help and again the noise bothered me because she is a shy stable cat. I thought she was afraid of the noise, luckily she's not. seems to keep her warm and comfortable even at 16 under what we just had. I want it to be clear which side should be the shiny side, whether it should be the shiny side up, i.e. next to the animal, or the shiny side down. I don't know exactly what is correct
