This is a great rug. I bought this for my 15 year old cat and he started working straight away. It is well made and doesn't make a lot of noise like some pleated fabrics. He's a big cat and there's plenty of room for him. It's not very thick, but if you're looking for a nice blanket that will keep your cat warm, especially older cats, it's fine. I was also glad that there is no smell. Some have a chemical smell, but not this one. I have a sherpa color. I don't know about others.

This is a great little pillow to keep your pet warm. I put it in my cat's bed and when she lays on it you can feel the heat radiating back. It doesn't get super warm, but warm enough to be comfortable because she seems to like it. The soft fleece cover is beautiful and perfect for traveling in the car or in the carrier. I don't think it would be very effective outdoors. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the thermal pad inside the fleece sleeve is a bit stiff and makes a crunching

Great solution for older dogs. This is the perfect heating pad for an older dog with chronic arthritis. My vet suggested a heating pad for my 8 lb dog. He is 13 years old and has been diagnosed with severe arthritis. I've tried several electric models, but they all fail for two reasons. My two cats (one brave, the other shy) fell in love with her right away. The crackling noise didn't bother either of them, which is pretty minor anyway (noise). I bought them because I was tired of both cats always trying to be on my lap so I put them next to me on the couch and now I don't just depend on cats anymore.
