When I received these today I can't believe they are Rubbermaid products as I have many from this company have bought times over the years. The plastic material is very flimsy (the kind you'd expect to find in a 99 cent store) but the main downside to these containers is that the lids don't fit properly and can't be held onto the base container. do you just sit back? Of course, they couldn't hold onto the food without spilling the contents. I imagine a person could use large rubber bands to hold the lids in place, but they wouldn't guarantee that leakage could be prevented. Without safety cases, they will be completely useless in my opinion.
