The nice thing is that food on one side of the divider does not leak out to the other side. However, this attribute has a small disadvantage. It is VERY difficult to remove or replace the cover. For this reason I would not recommend this divided snack container for use by children. Also, I think it's overpriced. Most take-out sets are between $2 and $3 at your local department store.

I bought them to prep and freeze healthy food. Unfortunately, although the description says they are freezable, after about a week in the freezer the plastic became brittle and when I took out one of the containers the plastic broke and sharp bits flew all over the place, including inside the food. The purchase was made a month ago and was frozen for about a week, so the problem isn't that they're old. Disappointed, I won't buy again!

When I received these today I can't believe they are Rubbermaid products as I have many from this company have bought times over the years. The plastic material is very flimsy (the kind you'd expect to find in a 99 cent store) but the main downside to these containers is that the lids don't fit properly and can't be held onto the base container. do you just sit back? Sometimes a one-piece dinner plate is needed. We have found this size to be perfect for our lunch and at the end of a meal we can use it and cut into equal portions to put the leftovers in the fridge to take to lunch the next day. You can also make a good salad or soup. The quality of Rubbermaid is head and shoulders above any other brand I have purchased. They are great. I use them as motivational snacks. Once a week I chop up a ton of carrots and celery sticks and put them in these containers with some dressing or sauce in a small container so I only have to reach into the fridge when I feel like a snack, crispy, and a small vegetable plate is ready for one!
