Sometimes a one-piece dinner plate is needed. We have found this size to be perfect for our lunch and at the end of a meal we can use it and cut into equal portions to put the leftovers in the fridge to take to lunch the next day. You can also make a good salad or soup. The quality of Rubbermaid is head and shoulders above any other brand I have purchased. I've been using these Rubbermaid food containers for at least 3 years now and they're still holding up while some other brands I've bought have only had a few uses.
