I saw them in a shop or something and the amount you get and how much they were it was ridiculous. However, we not only got a lot with this set, but also anything but cheap. The variety of tiles you get allows you to build almost anything, including the illustrations on the box, without having to buy more tiles. When the box arrived I noticed it was heavy and when I opened it I understood why. The wheels on the parts of the car/train move, and then we can hook them together. When it comes to playing with these tiles, some pieces have to be used on certain sides, just like magnets, but no matter what, all the tiles will and will stick together. My kids will play with these tiles for hours and the nice thing is they leave them on overnight and whatever they build stays in place.
