My computer sits on the floor a few feet from my desk so I needed this cable to connect the computer to the speakers on the monitor to extend. That works fine. The connections at either end feel solid, but not too tight, and the sound is accurate as far as I can tell. My only complaint has to do with the stiffness of the cable: it's this mid-range material that's flexible but wants to hold on. into its original folded shape until flattened for a while. Relatively minor complaint.
