This hand lotion is effective but a bit unusual. It takes a while to apply as it almost looks like lotion mixed with powder! After rubbing it into your skin, your hand will look like there is no lotion on it. However, your hand will become smooth and nourished. I think it's great that you don't lose your grip when turning doorknobs etc. immediately after application. Moisture stays on your hands and stays that way for a long time or until you wash your hands. I am deducting 1 star for the smell which is not bad but not great plus the time and effort it took to apply the lotion. Overall I like it and would buy it again. I also have the lemon parsley version of this lotion which is about the same in function. I'm a little partial to the lemon parsley version because of the smell.
