Very nice hood for nest camera. Protects against rain when you mount the camera on a wall where it is not under a roof. But let me warn you about my own mistakes. Do not mount the camera as high under the hood as in the stock photo. I didn't even get mine that high underneath and I had to lower them anyway. What will happen is that it will cause a halo effect in the middle of the screen. This is due to the reflection of IR light from the underside of the hood. Although you couldn't see the bonnet in the camera's field of view, it was still mirrored. The day was perfect, but as night fell, a halo appeared. I lowered it about an inch and a half and the halo was gone. I will attach photos. I love the hood and will definitely buy it again. If you look at night photos, you will see a big difference after lowering the camera.
