This grinder looked solid until the 3rd use. This is when the blade has just stopped spinning. Upon inspection, the square head attached to the front of the auger broke off. Once I saw the carving was in place I attempted to assemble. Installation is not possible due to torn threads. On a positive note, my real plastic kitchen utensil grinder got the job done. I slipped over a hundred pounds of tomatoes and nearly forty pounds of sausage through the plastic bag with no problem. It broke after about 15 pounds of sausage. Probably this part of the product "science and technology" needs to be reconsidered.
