Review on Mueller Back Support - SS18: Unmatched Comfort and Support for a Stronger Back by Kevin Schnitzer

Would be a great back brace IF it fits. I have used Mueller braces in the past but gained weight and knew I would need more. It's advertised for waists up to 50 inches and it just never happens. Unstretched, I was about 38 inches tall. My equatorial area is about 44 inches. I almost cut off my oxygen flow trying to stretch this band 6 inches and then attach the velcro straps. The braces are made of very strong elastic, not weak ones that stretch instantly: this material is DURABLE. It's great except it doesn't make it very stretchy. Mine sits in the corner, unused because I can't breathe when I put it on. So I'm torn on how to rate this. I know these are great back braces as long as they fit, are strong and supportive, so I would be inclined to give 5 stars based on *past* experience. BUT, this is not a past experience. I can't use less than stated so I would give 1 star. Finally I decided to split the difference and give 3 stars based on past and present experiences. TL;DR: Great braces if you can find the right ones. Let the buyer be alert.
