I knew they were smaller than what is actually listed.

I knew they were smaller than advertised, they are actually 7/8" tall and 1 5/8" wide. (not even close to 6 inches) I use them on my mic stands, I replace the 5/16 carriage bolt with a class 5 and use it so musicians can't over tighten the stand.
