These bags aren't as sustainable as you might think; They are not home composted. Bags that can't be composted at home can break down into smaller pieces of plastic, so are biodegradable, but leave behind microplastics that are actually worse for the environment; I don't know if that's the case with these bags, but it makes me careful not to buy them again. Because they can't be composted at home, they're not as safe as others I've found; My favorite variety is the 100% compostable Unni bags.
