good background; Buy 2 packs but DO NOT glue them together.

This tinsel-like ball was pretty much what I expected, and my disappointment was mainly that I didn't figure out how to 'fold' two curtains until a mistake was made. Be careful and don't tape the curtains together: you'll cry if you do. They tear easily, which is the main reason for the aforementioned insect-caused weeping. Even with my messy application and liberal use of backstage packing tape, it was a decent backdrop for photos of my little Christmas tree. Will probably buy again (different color) for an upcoming event.
