Review on Dimmable Goodlite G 19753 Filament Equivalent by Donald Marin

We have a floor reading lamp with a matt 60W T10 bulb. When it blew out after a few years of use, I looked for a replacement. Incandescent bulbs tend to come in multiple packs which we don't need as it's the only T10 bulb we use in our home. Individual bulbs have an absurd price premium. I've noticed many LED equivalents, most of which are in transparent packages, which look a bit odd in photos online. This product is the only matte equivalent. Although, as with most LED replacement bulbs, the advertised equivalency appears to be misleading - this bulb is noticeably not as bright as the bulb it replaced. While we can never recoup the price premium of LEDs through energy savings, the added value is that this lamp runs cool. A 60 W incandescent lamp would noticeably heat up the metal body of the reading lamp to the point where there is a risk of burns. There are no problems with this pear. I'm not sure what the premium LED is worth for those who don't have this unique problem. . . but the bulb provides an even distribution of light and works great with the dimmer built into the reading light.
