Once a year I have had to remember to buy new 9-volters for the fire alarms as those were the only devices I still used them for. When I recently bought a couple of new items online without knowing they would require 9-volt rectangle power centers, I looked to Ebay to order a few. To my delight, I discovered these new, or new to me, batteries which could be recharged utilizing a USB connection. Never again will I be dangerously low on power for the critical smoke alarms but I will have adequate power for my new toys without having to toss old ones into a recycling center. Great price, great availability at Ebay it has become a convenience. I have no doubts the quality will hold up but am in the process of seeing at this time. I recommend these if you have ever found yourself at the corner "stab-n-grab" or convenience store at midnight trying to find these non-rechargeable items with a good date in order to protect the family and/or stop that incessant BEEP the alarms give off whenthey suddenly become low on juice (usually around that witching hour) and when it's cold or wet out!
