Review on Black Cowhide Scrap Leather - Lace Texture - 18x7+ inches (#L300) by Morgan Gilmore

Very good leather and size as described. It's not the highest quality shoulder leather you'll see in really high end sheaths and holsters, but it's a small compromise and a lot easier to work with for the average hobbyist like me. Thickness is about 1/8 inch or a little less, I think about 6 ounces in weight, the perfect size and weight for the hunting knife sheath I wanted with a bit of rest. FYI, as it was hard to tell until I got them, the 20" line rivets were perfect (went through a thickness of this leather) and the 'little' quick tandy rivets were good for gluing two thicknesses together . Very satisfied skin and end result.
