I bought this hat after reading the reviews and how even big heads managed to completely cover their ears. This was not my experience. This cap covers half of my ears and is snug for me. I also have a short haircut so the fit has nothing to do with having a full mop on my head. I bought an effective cap at Walmart for less than $3. My head isn't big, but I usually buy a very large hat. This beanie kept my head warmer than anything else, but it's a disappointment because it leaves my ears in the cold. Literally.
