This is an amazing portable radio. It has a separate VHF antenna so you can get the best reception. I really like analog tuning, I replaced the battery from the kit with an interstate one. The built-in flash makes it easier for me to change the batteries in my large flashlight on late-night walks. If the reception is bad or there is too much advertising, I switch to the MP3 function and listen to the .y playlist. Very happy with this radio.
