Works well. I use it for PC gaming and needed that one ear style so I can hear if my little one wakes up and needs something. And since I play while my daughter is sleeping, we usually at least whisper/talk quietly and people can usually hear us just fine, so I think if you speak at a normal volume the results will be even better. I don't wear glasses when gaming so can't tell if it's weather or not, the gap makes it more comfortable (although I suspect it will be) but I do notice that a gap allows the sound to come out of the headphones a little more comfortable. noticeable to other people in the room (if it has since). Not a big deal as the audio isn't too loud, just an observation.
