What a great, long lasting light.

I am an industrial mechanic and my work wears out my tools. One of my most used tools is my flashlight. I've had a lot of small tactical LED lights and they would either start flickering, stop using some of their modes, or die completely. I'm happy to report that mine hasn't done either of those things and is still working just as it did the day it was removed from the box. I've dropped it many times from 12ft ladders, scissor lifts and whatnot. A few months after purchasing this job I was working on they had a core machine that would take a 1/2 inch rod and turn it into fine copper to twist and make wires for heavy duty applications. Gearing the machine required some work and we had to remove 2 large covers and check the gears and serrated fork. I bent over an open gear full of oil and my favorite flashlight fell into the oil and mud. I couldn't see the light because it was so dirty and I fished for a while but I didn't find my light so I made it go away forever. About a year later the plant closed and they wanted us to drain all the gearboxes and get ready to take the machines out, so I went to the same gearbox and pumped it out. What can I find at the bottom? My flashlight is still intact. I cleaned it and opened it up to find it was still dry inside which was amazing. I have charged the battery and tried the light and am happy to report that it has been back in service for a few months and I am using my new one as a spare. I chose this light because a model above this one dies in about 1.5 hours and this one lasts about 3.5 hours and yes the other one is much brighter, I don't need the power of the sun for anything I'm working on . , this one is about 500 lumens and bright enough. They have 2 packs of a charger that I recommend buying, it's about $45 from Grainger. All in all a great little light especially for the price I paid for the worst and the guys at my job saw that and made the company buy them for everyone.
