I bought this for my two year old niece to play with. I know it says 3 and up but she's great at it and seems to really love it. I think the magnetic aspect makes it good for little hands. This helps them line it up without having perfect dexterity. I like that it comes with a small storage box. All these toys must! I have so many mixed kits at home that I've even bought Rubbermaid containers for individual items. Many moms will appreciate the storage option. The best thing about them is durability. We had sets of magnets that broke so easily, even in the hands of my eldest son. They are already torn and look like new. If you have multiple kids in the house or hope to pass them on after you're done, I think you'll get money from them. You can't go wrong with Melissa and Doug!
