HEAVY DUTY PEERLESS LOAD BINDER - Offering higher working load limits than standard ratchet binders and can be used with either Grade 70 Transport or Grade 80 Alloy tie-down chain. Features a vinyl coated barrel for a strong, comfortable grip. EASY TO USE - The 3-position pawl offers the driver a choice of ratchet extension, ratchet take-up or a “free spin” setting for fast adjustment in either direction. A load can be secured in half the time. SAFE TO USE - The folding handle adds safety and can be folded down after the load is secure or for storage. Proof-tested and heat treated for durability and satisfies CVSA and DOT requirements. TAMPER RESISTANT - Use a long shank padlock (not included) to lock and secure the tie-down in place. SPECS - 5/16 inch ratchet chain binder | Works with 5/16 inch or 3/8 inch Grade 70 or 80 chain | 7,100 lbs. working load limit | Quantity: 1 Peerless Ratchet binder.

I gave up my old mounts

These folders are great. I ordered 2 first to see if they are what I wanted. I ordered 2 extra and am ordering 2 more. The ratchet handle folds up and fits easily in my trailer's tool box. The ratchet assembly works easily and is easy to reverse when wearing gloves. Chain hooks are heavy duty and suitable for 5/16" and 3/8" chains. They're quickly used to secure gear, and I pull out my old chain ties and use them when needed.

BEST Paperclip on the market

I was very disappointed with my cheaper $25-$50 hitch from local farm stores that coupled my tractor and mini digger. This folder was recommended by several people and I'm glad they did. The small premium you pay for these high quality bindings is definitely worth it. The convenience of a foldable handle and neutral position, along with a longer barrel and pinned ends is a game changer compared to traditional ratcheting mounts. Binder Beast

This Folder is a real beast so you can get the job done by moving it around!It definitely weighs 11.5lbs as advertised (maybe a little more!)The part construction is great and the rubber grip makes it easy to hold something. I hope it lasts a long time and my first impression is that it will work very well. The mechanical part works but feels a bit rough at times. Maybe some more lube would help loosen it.
