It takes a long time to fit this item in the cup holder. It has to be spot on or it'll tip over - once it's set it's set, but it takes a lot of fine tuning to set it up. The problem then is to adjust the arm to the exact desired shape, height and position. This tends to shift the part in the cup holder and just when you think you've adjusted your arm, your cup holder position is now loose again and you need to reset it. If you then need to remove the phone holder to use the cup holder, you'll have to go through the whole thing again. If you know you'll never have to remove it for any reason, you'll probably be fine. It has always bothered me that the thin plastic that holds the phone in the holder either breaks under the weight of the phone itself when the phone is taken out or the phone is not in the holder. and it happens randomly. It just didn't seem very strong. It wasn't worth keeping or messing with the return so I gave it to a friend who thought he'd like it despite the issues I had with it and I found a different type of holder which suits my needs much better. and placement in my car.
