Works great but not practical
We only had to use this for our 6th gen iPad. The case was solid and the keyboard plugged in easily. I didn't like the fact that you had to move the mag-pad keyboard to tilt the iPad to an easy-to-read angle. When you're done, you'll need to slide the keyboard back to close the case. So if you were in the kitchen and the case is closed, you need to open the case, unfold it, remove the keyboard from the magnetic pad, move it and adjust the angle. Once you're looking for something, you'll need to reverse the process to ensure the case closes properly. It was also a little uncomfortable moving the entire case in the open position.
