I would say I'm an intermediate beginner and I think the ratio is very beginner friendly and it takes some time to determine what can be good or bad depending after who you are or what you do. 8 oz is a lot, and yes, the product is COMPLETELY clear. Some people say it's cloudy or bubbling, but it's possible they got a bad batch, aren't using the right monomer, or just don't know how to use it properly. And I'm not trying to brag or anything, I just left a photo of my cracked ice nails to show how crisp they are. Also, the size comparison photos are for Mia Secret White 1oz (left) and Clear 2oz (right). I would say that Mia Secret is a good choice for beginners because it's quality and you don't spend a lot of money on something. You are not an expert in the application.
