I have many microsd cards so this case was very useful for me. The case closes with magnets that require some force to open, and the cards are held in place by a pressure/slotted friction grip. Access is fairly easy, but protection isn't as good as some sort of zipper or latch. I've done a drop test or two from about 2 feet - the case knocked out but the cards stayed in their slots - not entirely reliable though, some moving a bit. The hard case does not make the cards so soft. My concern is that if you store micro sd cards in their sd adapters and then try to take them out by lifting the micro sd card, you could damage them like micro sd cards. thin and easy to tear. Nail holes for lifting the SD card on the sides would have been better to avoid this problem, but that's no big deal: your best bet is to remove the microsd adapter from the top/pin side. Another problem is that this dark case looks like this. it would be easy to lose. The included clip helps to clip it somewhere, wish I could add some bright colors or materials to make it easier to find in a pile of stuff or if you lose it on the street. Overall, this is a good case if you don't plan on subjecting him to too much violence.
