Ok it's only been about 20 minutes and I'm already very happy with this stuff. Our cat had tons of litter on her feet which then ended up in our bed, on the carpet and throughout the house. Pooh. So we switched to regular animal litter pellets. In case you don't know, these are wood/chip pellets, they are larger so they don't stick to the legs but absorb well and give the cat the pleasure of digging in their droppings without mess. But I HATE the smell. It's just the smell of hamster cage chips with urine in them, and I swear I can smell it all over the house. I just put some of this Arm & Hammer stuff in it and I'm already very pleased with the smell. Yes, it does have a scent (something like a laundry detergent or dryer with a fresh scent), but I also feel like it neutralizes the smell of woody hamster pellets so I don't walk in the door and smell my house. like guinea pigs. Hooray. And it was so cheap! And I put an ultra light layer in it, so I think this box will last a long time. Love it.
