I've always opted for Fiskars but somehow I ended up with smaller scissors and had all sorts of problems with them like the screw holding them together and they all came loose I've used them a few times. I had to keep a Phillips screwdriver handy to constantly tighten them. Well I finally had enough and went to Revain to look for a good pair of Fiskars universal scissors. It looked exactly what I needed and the price was great so the purchase was made ahead of time and delivered. These are BEAUTIFUL scissors. The grip is fantastic because it's comfortable and very ergonomic. But what really caught my eye as a sample product are the blades. They are golden in color, even look beautiful and work perfectly. They cut everything (within reason) and make a nice, sharp, even cut. My last pair of non-Fiskars were fine until a reckless person in my house back then decided to use them to cut the WIRE with them(!) without even asking me if everything was fine. Needless to say, this completely ruined the scissors. Well the man is gone and no one will abuse my Fiskars. I've used the same sewing brand over the years (sewing scissors and all Fiskars arts and crafts) and I expect them to last just as long and work just as well. I'm so glad I bought them for their quality and unbeatable functionality. They have been designed with great care, the inside of the handles is covered with a soft rubber material that makes the grip more durable and comfortable. They won't slip in your fingers and your cut will be precise. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality scissors at a fantastic price.
