My Mac laptop gets very hot - I've tried so many laptop fans when the laptop is placed on the fan. I've tried them all - simple, trendy, with multiple fans and nice backlight. None of them work. I have bought these fans from Amazon, Target, Best Buy and have always been disappointed. This OImaster laptop cooler works great. I leave it on all the time when I'm working in my office; it's not loud. It's compact for travel. I'm ordering a second one to put in the media/electronics cabinet next to my TV to keep all the equipment cool. 100% recommend this fan.
