Not my style but ok

I don't know about other people running but I use a simple fold over strap and don't even flip it to reveal my pockets. I'm still old school and don't have a watch or other accessories to watch out for while running. So to see my mileage or time (or answer a call) I have to pull out my phone, and it helps not to flip the strap to get to my phone. In the many years of using folding straps I've never had a problem with things falling out. I'm saying all of this because the most frustrating thing about this belt is that it has flaps over the pockets that make it difficult to access my phone (or other items in smaller pockets) when I'm running. I tend to cut the flaps off. Don't get me wrong: I think this is a great security feature, but I don't need it. It might as well be my size, but I'm having trouble getting into the side pockets (especially with those pesky flaps!). There are also only 3 pockets; I miss the front and back pockets on my old folding straps (due to the design of this strap, back pockets are not possible). Despite my complaints, this is a decent running belt - not the best, but it does the job. I like that the buckle makes it easy to put the belt on and off (instead of sticking your feet through something and pulling it up/down). This is also adjustable (I have it on the lowest possible setting).
