I bought these cute birds for my outside potted flowers as I was going away for the weekend. First, one came broken, and I was warned that that may happen before I even received the item, but the seller was very responsive and refunded my money for that order. I followed the instructions of placing cheese cloth on the bottom so they would drip slowly and a few did that and a few drained in a few hours and a few never drained at all. They are pretty but very fragile with thin glass and they only would work for very small pots as they really don't hold much water. But I did not find them a reliable water solution. I am returning them.
