Not durable, lightweight material, don't expect to put a whole tray of breakfast food even to bed. The bottom is glued to the sides which is disappointing and after placing a regular/standard large ceramic plate and glass of liquid I felt like it was going to fall through. The sides are heavier than the bottom, but it should be the other way around. It's a flat wood, which means there's no post-processing. It is dry, not smooth, uncomfortable to the touch and if you spill it is impossible to clean/wipe up, voiding the purchase. So dry and fragile that it will most likely get dirty. This is too much money for such poor quality and I wish I had bought it. The only reason I'm not returning it is because I need the tray in my house and I don't like returning it. I am very disappointed in this purchase and would not recommend wasting my money on it.
