I bought this for my 15 months. my old daughter, so that she doesn't take my broom from me when I'm sweeping. I first took it to show her that "Mom thinks it's useful" and to seduce her. It worked! She immediately snatched it out of my hands and started sweeping :) Since she's only 15 months old, she uses it without an extension and it's up to her chest. She sweeps with it and holds on to the broom at the top. The broom feels strong and very light. I bought this specifically for the extension because people have complained that similar brooms (without the extension) are too small for their kids. As she gets older, the extension will definitely come in handy. NOT ONLY MY BABY LOVES IT, I LOVE IT lol. I use it to get into small gaps and crevices. Using it only encourages my child to want to use it even more. It was a great purchase! You will not regret it.
